The Alpha Systems Battery Pack is designed specifically for the A-31 DNVG and allows for extended use of up to 8 hours. It houses 4 extra 14500 batteries allow the batteries to be swapped out for uninterrupted use. 

These can be used as an interchangeable battery as a backup from your main unit, for prolonged airsoft skirmishes and night time uses.
